Sakarya Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Akgün Altuğ and Assembly Speaker Erdem Ercan visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at his office with their delegation.

At the reception, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu wished success for the new term efforts and conveyed his good wishes.

In his statement after the visit, Akgün Altuğ said: “For about a year, there was a preparation for the elections of the chambers and commodity exchanges where Türkiye's most democratic elections were held. In Sakarya, there has been preparation for the election process for quite some time. We had a contentious election process. As a result, after a democratic election atmosphere, we and our team were elected. Today we came to visit our President. We introduced our friends elected to the board of directors to our President. We conveyed our good intentions to them. In this term, Allah willing, we will elect him as the President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey. My friends and I expressed our loyalty to him. We leave the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges with great satisfaction.”
