Aydın Commodity Exchange Chairman Fevzi Çondur and Assembly Speaker Ahmet Bahri Erdel visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at his office with their delegation.
At the reception, TOBB
President Hisarcıklıoğlu wished success for the new term efforts and conveyed
his good wishes.
In his statement after
the visit, Fevzi Çondur made the following remarks: “As Aydın Commodity
Exchange, we held our elections on the 1st of October. Thanks to our
members, they also showed kindness. They deemed us worthy of the task again.
There was no other candidate. We have been running for election without
opposition for 3 terms. In this period, we will continue our efforts to serve
our country in the best way. Of course, the Union of Chambers also makes a
great contribution to our city. With the vision and mission of our President,
we will continue our activities for Aydın in the same way.
Thanks to our
President, he pays special attention to Aydın. We always consult with him and
convey the problems. Today, too, there were some issues related to cotton and
olives today. We forwarded them to our president. Thanks they were interested.
There are some problems that our exporter is experiencing with the Credit
Guarantee Fund and Eximbank. We have expressed them. Thanks to our president,
he supports us in these matters. We are grateful to him.
If luckily, TOBB's
general assembly will be held in May. Since 2005, I have held various positions
at the Aydın Commodity Exchange such as council member, board member, vice
president and chairman of the board of directors. TOBB is a person who knows
the activities of the previous presidents and the current activities well.
Although I am young, I am considered old in the community. Our president has
made very important contributions with the vision he brought. Allah willing, we
hope that the presidency of our President will continue. We also conveyed our
support to him. We hope that he will serve as the President of the Union of
Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye in the next 4 years.”
