Mehmet Ali Mert, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Çayeli Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Hüseyin Öztürk, Chairman of the Assembly, visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at his office with their delegation.

At the reception, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu wished success for the new term efforts and conveyed his good wishes.

Mehmet Ali Mert, in his statement after the visit, gave the following opinions: “On the first of the 10^th month, our election calendar was announced. We entered the election on the 3^rd. In the previous period, we had a 4-year presidential process. During the pandemic, we tried to serve our members in the footsteps of our President under difficult conditions. Then we decided to run for another term. Our members appreciated it. Maybe it's rare, but we held our election unopposed. Thirty percent of our current councilors requested to be excused. They were changed. In the same way, we continue on our way. We would like to thank Mr. President very much. He works day and night with a performance that is truly beyond the extraordinary. We take him as an example as an idol. He never tires. Always with us. We love him and we learn a lot from his vision. Hopefully, we want to see this synergy with us again. I hope we will continue under his leadership in the new period.”
