The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the 5th Annual Meeting held at ATO Congerisum. In his speech at the opening of the Productivity and Technology Fair, he said, “The dizzying speed of digital transformation is rapidly changing the needs and expectations of consumers. At this point, efficiency is not only a concept, it is the basic element of transformation.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu stated
that university students, techno-cities where information and technology
production is made for 5 years, public institutions, leading technology
companies in their fields and experienced names of Türkiye have come together
with this event, “From e-commerce to defense industry, from automotive to
technology companies, it brings together a wide range of manufacturers and
buyers. It also inspires young people by hosting valuable conversations on
topics such as e-sports, gaming, metaverse and artificial intelligence.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu noted
that they know that sustainable growth and increasing international
competitiveness can only be achieved on the basis of technological development.

Hisarcıklıoğlu
underlined that it is necessary to work day and night to become a country that
exports critical technologies, not imports them, and said: “In this sense, all
of our business processes need to be reconsidered according to the principle of
efficiency. We are in a period where technology is developing at a great pace.
While e-commerce is becoming more and more widespread, business processes are
also being transformed technologically. The dizzying speed of digital
transformation is also rapidly changing the needs and expectations of
consumers. At this point, efficiency is not just a concept, it is the basic
element of transformation.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu drew
attention to the importance of making efficiency the main issue at many points
from business processes to energy, employees and raw materials, and said that
the modern factories established recently increased productivity.
Stating that producers
and entrepreneurs should be online, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “For this reason, we
are striving for the digitalization of the private sector, green transformation
and the development of new generation entrepreneurship. We prepare our
companies and entrepreneurs for the digital world and produce projects to
improve their technological infrastructure. Working with the world's largest
global technology companies, we are establishing collaborations for the
digitalization of our SMEs.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu said
that entrepreneurs aim to be dynamic and easily access the resources, knowledge
and skills they need to grow in the digital world.
Hisarcıklıoğlu said
that the private sector and young people are striving to actively benefit from
TOBB's Young and Women Entrepreneurs network, and that Türkiye has started to
make a difference to competitors in technological developments.
Hisarcıklıoğlu,
pointing out that great things have been done in the game sector, said, “We
have shown you what the Turkish nation can do when it wants, that strength is
born from unity, and we have done groundbreaking work. What is produced in
Türkiye changes the balances.Our companies are achieving great success. Five
technological companies in this land that exceed $ 1 billion, both of these
companies are worth more than $ 10 billion. It was all a dream. In other words,
as Turkish entrepreneurs, we are here to break the rules. I hope young people
will carry this flag forward.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu then
visited the stands at the fair and received information about the works.
