The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with TOBB University of Economics and Technology (ETU) academicians and received their opinions and suggestions on the effects of the earthquake on the economy.

Hisarcıklıoğlu, who made a statement on his social media account, said, “While the dispatch of our aid trucks, tents and containers to the disaster area continues, we are evaluating the effects of the earthquake on the economy. We received opinions and suggestions from TOBB ETU academicians about the economic effects of the earthquake, the measures to be taken, and the legislative arrangements.”
