The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his April 23rd National Sovereignty and Children's Day message, stated that there is no will above that of the nation and that the power to carry Türkiye to a bright future is the sovereignty of the nation.

Hisarcıklıoğlu included the following statements in his message:

“We once again celebrate with enthusiasm and joy the anniversary of the opening of the Turkish Grand National Assembly and the adoption of national sovereignty.

We are also proud of being the first and only country in the world to present a holiday to its children and share this holiday with the whole world.

We are grateful to Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades in arms who made it possible for us to live this day of pride.

Those who trust in the wisdom and conscience of their nation always win. From the period of the War of Independence to today, we have come a long way with the will of our nation.

We will continue their fight in which they put their lives on the line, as the business world, by working non-stop, by increasing our employment and production power.

Our goal is to become one of the world's largest economies and to increase the quality of life, social, cultural and material wealth of our people.

With these feelings and thoughts, on behalf of the Turkish business world, I wholeheartedly congratulate our beloved nation on April 23, National Sovereignty and Children's Day.”
