Gemlik olives, described as the black pearl, became the 12th product to receive a geomarker registration from the EU. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), said, “I sincerely congratulate the Gemlik Commodity Exchange, which has successfully concluded this process that we support as TOBB.”
The Union of Chambers
and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, who
shared his Twitter account on the subject, used the following statements:
“Gemlik Olive became
our 12th product to receive a geomarker registration from the EU. I
sincerely congratulate the Gemlik Commodity Exchange, which has successfully
concluded this process, which we support as TOBB. Our work on 44 geomarker and
4 traditional product names continues in the European Union process.”

received registration from the EU so far are as follows:
