The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, together with TOBB Board Members, traveled to Brussels for bilateral meetings and a series of contacts.

Hisarcıklıoğlu and the members of the Board of Directors first paid a goodwill visit to Ambassador Zeki Levent Gümrükçü, Türkiye's Permanent Representative to NATO.

Afterwards, TOBB Board of Directors visited Bekir Uysal, the Ambassador of Türkiye to Brussels, and evaluated the economic and commercial relations between Türkiye and Belgium and the activities of TOBB Brussels Representative Office.

The TOBB delegation then visited Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı, Permanent Representative of Türkiye to the European Union. During the visit, modernization of the Customs Union, visa, the effects of the carbon regulation mechanism at the border, regional developments and Türkiye-EU relations were discussed.
