M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Vice President of the European Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Eurochambres) and President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), attended the “European Companies Assembly” meeting held at the European Parliament General Assembly Hall in Brussels with the participation of 750 companies from Eurochambres member countries.
The meeting started
with the opening speeches of Dita Charanzová, Vice-President of the European
Parliament and Valdis Dombrovskis, Vice-President of the European Commission
and member responsible for Trade, and the issues of vocational training, energy
and competitiveness, which are on the agenda of the European business world,
were discussed at the meeting.
Hisarcıklıoğlu noted
that they conveyed the expectations of the business world to the
representatives of the EU institutions at the meeting.
After the meeting,
Hisarcıklıoğlu also met with Kadri Simson, European Commissioner for Energy.
