M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), evaluated the minimum wage increase.

In a statement made on his social media account, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “May the 17,002 lira net minimum wage be beneficial to our country and nation. The purchasing power of employees should be increased by updating the income tax brackets upwards. Our agenda is production, investment, employment and export. In order to protect the production power of our country and to prevent damage to the sustainability of companies, the fight against inflation should continue decisively, and support for the real sector should be continued by increasing.”
