The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu addressed the participants at the closing session of the 2nd Trade Registry Practices Symposium and Registry Academy Launch.
TOBB President
Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that the most important records in a state are the
trade registry, population and title deed, and told the participants what an
important job they do.
Reminding that since
1995, the task of keeping the trade registry has been given to the chambers of
commerce and industry and chambers of commerce by law, Hisarcıklıoğlu said that
the first contact of the members with the chambers is the trade registry
directorates and that the success of the employees of the trade registry
directorate is reflected in the success of the chamber.
Stating that they have
accomplished a major reform, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that while 7 separate bureaucratic
procedures were required to establish a new company in the past, it has now
been reduced to a single signature, and the announcement publication period,
which was 2 days, has been reduced to half an hour.
Explaining that the
transition to digital has been made by doing an important job in terms of the
environment, TOBB President said, “We have saved 100 tons of newsprint, 10 tons
of first pulp paper, 1 ton of nylon bags and cargo packages, cargo costs, fuel,
energy, stationery and archiving costs. We have also ensured the efficient use
of human labor. With the green transformation, we have also contributed to the
economy. We completed the last business day of 2023 by breaking the all-time
record by publishing 12,309 advertisements in one day. We achieved all this
together.”
