The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “The fight against inflation should be the first priority of all Türkiye and budget discipline should support this struggle.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu made evaluations on his social media account regarding the “Public Savings and Efficiency Package” shared with the public by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz and Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek.

TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu noted the following: “The fight against inflation should be the first priority of all Türkiye and budget discipline should support this fight.

In this context, we find the Public Savings and Efficiency Package announced by our Vice President Mr. Cevdet Yılmaz and our Minister of Treasury and Finance Mr. Mehmet Şimşek positive. It is a step in the right direction.

This package will be further strengthened by additional measures, the reform steps to be announced in the coming period and the establishment of a monitoring system.

I hope for the announced savings and efficiency package to be beneficial to our country and nation.”
