The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the 37th Ordinary Elected General Assembly of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK) and the Respect for the Masters Award Ceremony held at Lütfi Kırdar International Convention and Exhibition Center with the presence of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

At the ceremony, Hisarcıklıoğlu, who served as the President of DEİK between 2001 and 2014, was presented the Respect for the Masters Award by Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat and DEİK President Nail Olpak.

In his speech after the award presentation, Hisarcıklıoğlu thanked for the award presented to him and said: “DEİK was established in 1985 by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye in order to show the total support of the Turkish business world in the process of opening Turkish economy to the world. I commemorate with respect, gratitude and mercy our then President and the members of the Board of Directors who took this visionary decision. Today, as TOBB, we represent the Turkish business world in all of the world's leading business organizations. I am receiving this award on behalf of the entire Turkish business world. I would like to thank all of you, especially Mr. President, and extend my respects.”
