Members of non-governmental organizations forming the Turkish wing of the Türkiye -European Union (EU) Joint Consultative Committee (JCC) convened hosted by Şemsi Bayraktar, President of the Union of Agricultural Chambers of Türkiye (TZOB).

During the meeting, the future activities of the Committee as the Turkish wing of the Türkiye-EU Joint Consultative Committee were discussed.

The meeting was attended by the President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and EU-JCC President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Bendevi Palandöken, President of the Confederation of Turkish Tradesmen and Craftsmen (TESK), Mahmut Arslan, President of the Confederation of Trade Unions (HAK-İŞ), Ali Yalçın, President of the Confederation of Civil Servants' Unions (MEMUR-SEN), Önder Kahveci, President of the Confederation of Public Employees' Unions of Türkiye (Türkiye KAMU-SEN) and Metin Demir, Executive Board Member of the Confederation of Employers' Associations of Turkey (TİSK).
