TOBB signed a cooperation agreement with the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) at the World Council meeting in Paris. The 5-point agreement covers many areas from financing programs to digital exports.
The Union of Chambers
and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and the International Chamber of
Commerce (ICC) signed an agreement that will take their cooperation to the next
level. The agreement was signed by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and
ICC Secretary General John Denton at the ICC World Council meeting in Paris.
The agreement, which
includes a 5-point action plan, covers a 1-year period. The following issues
are included in the agreement: “Incoterms, international trade finance, supply
chain finance, green marketing and ICC global learning programs will be offered
to the Turkish business world with the support of TOBB University of Economics
and Technology.
Organization of information
meetings in Türkiye with the ICC Banking Commission on sustainable trade and
sustainable trade finance.
Implementation of the
Digital Export Program (DEEP) in Türkiye to improve the electronic export
capabilities of SMEs by the ICC Entrepreneurship Center Istanbul Regional
Office, in cooperation with TOBB - ICC.
Organization of
information meetings on ICC Genesis and ICC Certificates of Origin. Organizing
joint events within the scope of ICC Arbitration, World Federation of Chambers
throughout the year.”
