In his speech at the Kars Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Economic Value Contributors Award Ceremony, M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), stated that the Kars Chamber of Commerce and Industry also protects the local values of Kars and said, “Now Kars' famous Goose meat and Kars Kete are under protection. This will make a great contribution to the recognition of Kars Cuisine.”

TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu presented plaques to entrepreneurs who added value to the economy of the province and to those who completed 40 years of membership in the Chamber at the “Value Contributors to the Economy” ceremony hosted by Kars CCI President Kadir Bozan.

In his speech here, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that he was very happy with the picture of unity and solidarity he saw in Kars and said, “You stand together for the development of Kars. You have become one heart, one hand. If there is unity in a place, you will never fall down.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Kadir Bozan, President of Kars CCI, made great efforts for the development and enrichment of the province and said: “Our Chamber is also an accredited chamber. In other words, it has documented that it has become a 5-star service to our members. We opened the Arbitration and Mediation Center, which started operating within our Chamber. We are all aware of the slow functioning of the judicial system. On average, a case lasts 2 years in the first instance court. Then it continues in the second instance court for another 2 years. In order to alleviate this problem, it has been made compulsory to go to the mediator first in labor-employer, commercial, consumer and rent disputes. We established the TOBB UYUM Mediation and Dispute Resolution Center to serve our community in this regard. Our chambers also embraced this work. As Kars CCI did, they started to establish these centers in their provinces. In these centers, commercial disputes were settled in an average of 20 days. In other words, lawsuits that used to take years were settled in days or weeks, thus accelerating access to justice. On the other hand, at the request of President Kadir, TOBB is building a high school with 24 classrooms in Kars. If it is possible, we will open it together. Our Chamber is doing another good deed today. It is rewarding those who add value to Kars. Anyway, as our culture says, ingenuity deserves compliment. I sincerely congratulate all my entrepreneur brothers and sisters who deserve to be awarded for their contribution to the Kars economy.”
