TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, who published a message on the occasion of August 30th Victory Day, said: “This great victory is a picture of the unity and solidarity of our nation and its character. It is a day of pride for all of us.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu
expressed the following views in his message:
“August 30th
is the work of a determination and belief that is unique in the world. This
victory, which was achieved under the leadership of Commander-in-Chief Mustafa
Kemal Atatürk, has no precedent in the world.
August 30th,
1922, is the date when it was declared that our nation would never give up its
independence.
Our great nation, which
has always been in favor of peace at home and in the world, has not and will
not refrain from anything when its independence and homeland are coveted.
We express our
gratitude and appreciation to all our martyrs and veterans, especially Gazi
Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who sacrificed their lives for our values such as
homeland, nation, independence and flag, and laid the foundations of the
opportunities we have today.
