The President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, made an assessment of the Medium Term Program covering the 2025-2027 periods announced by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz. Hisarcıklıoğlu gave the following views in his statement:

“May the Medium Term Program (MTP) for 2025-2027, which was announced by our Vice President Mr. Cevdet Yılmaz and prepared in consultation with the private sector, be beneficial to our country and nation.

As the business world, our main expectations are financial stability, increased predictability, reducing inflation to single digits, sustainable growth and prioritizing structural reforms.

The Medium Term Program announced today provides an important road map for combating inflation, predictability and sustainable growth. Strong steps to be taken on the structural reforms outlined in the program will also increase the global competitiveness of our country.

I would like to emphasize one point in particular. In the implementation process of the program, we consider it important to pay more attention to the voice of the real sector and to increase public-private consultation, especially in facilitating access to financing. As the business world, we will continue to work with all our strength in line with the goals of our country.”
