The President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu held a meeting with Egyptian Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk to discuss the steps that can be taken to improve Türkiye-Egypt economic relations.

In his assessment of the meeting, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “TOBB and 137 Chambers and Commodity Exchanges are partners with 137 Chambers and Commodity Exchanges, modernizing land border gates within the framework of the Build-Operate-Transfer model as Customs and Tourism Enterprises Co Inc (GTI), we gave information about Türkiye's customs gates modernization model.”

During the meeting, GTİ General Manager Ömür Gebeş made a presentation on the activities of GTİ.
