The President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of TOBB University of Economics and Technology (ETU) M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his message published on the occasion of November 24 Teachers’ Day, said, “Our teachers who teach people to read, knowledge, wisdom and life deserve our appreciation.”
In his message, TOBB
and TOBB ETU Chairman of the Board of Trustees M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said:
“Teachers are the ones
who shape and direct the society. They have the biggest share in the success of
our children and their participation in society as qualified individuals. Young
generations raised by well-trained and well-equipped teachers are the greatest
force that will take society forward in the race for civilization.
As Gazi Mustafa Kemal
Atatürk stated, only teachers can destroy ignorance, which is the enemy of
society. Therefore, our teachers, who teach the past, are the real founders of
our future.
The works of teachers
are the educated people. They are the rulers of this country, artists,
scholars, sportsmen, businessmen, workers, peasants, civil servants. In short,
it is the education provided by our teachers that shapes everything.
With these feelings and
thoughts, I congratulate our esteemed teachers on November 24th,
Teachers’ Day and extend my gratitude and respect to our education community.”
