M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), attended the General Assembly of the D-8 Chamber of Commerce and Industry held in Cairo.

In his opening speech, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the cooperation potential among the D8 countries should be increased. Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized the importance of establishing a Free Trade Agreement that will take the Preferential Trade Agreement one step further.

Hisarcıklıoğlu was accompanied by TOBB Board of Directors Treasurer Faik Yavuz, Board Members Mehmet Büyüksimitci and Board Member İbrahim Burkay.
