The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the 134th anniversary celebration program of Hamidiye Agriculture Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School.
Hisarcıklıoğlu, in the
program organized within the scope of the 100th anniversary
celebrations of the Bursa Commodity Exchange, said that the high school is an
exemplary and well-established educational institution that shapes Türkiye's
agricultural future.
Stating that the high
school, which has made great contributions to the country in the field of
agriculture and agriculture, prepares students for the future with its 400,000
square meters of agricultural area, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “This well-established
school plays a leading role not only in the field of education but also in
innovation and R&D activities. With 9 utility models, 6 patents, 2 trademarks
and 2 designs, it has made significant contributions to Türkiye's development.”
Emphasizing that the
Bursa Commodity Exchange played a major role in the success of the school
within the scope of the Vocational Education Cooperation Protocol signed between
the Ministry of National Education, TOBB and TOBB University of Economics and
Technology (ETU), Hisarcıklıoğlu said that the schools produced strong
graduates thanks to strong support.
Özer Matlı, Chairman of
the Board of Directors of the Bursa Commodity Exchange, said that the high
school is a 134-year-old plane tree that is the official project school of the
exchange and that the school is the first and only agricultural high school in
Türkiye.
Pointing out that Bursa
is a great agricultural city, Matlı said, “We know that we are the children of
a geography that is a good food and agricultural country, a country that tries
to remind its own values with its endemic plants and geographical signs that
have been going on since Mesopotamia. We actually have everything.”
