“Women’s Empowerment Coordination Board” was established with the Circular issued with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. A representative of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Women Entrepreneurs Council was also included in this Board.

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his assessment on his social media account on the subject, said, “According to the circular, provincial coordination boards will also be established under the chairmanship of the governor in all provinces in order to effectively carry out and monitor the work on women’s empowerment at the local level. Representatives of TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Provincial Council will also take part in this board. The board will carry out activities for women’s empowerment. May the board benefit all women,” he said.
