M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), stated that farmers affected by agricultural frost should be supported.

Hisarcıklıoğlu made the following statement on his social media account, noting that the recent agricultural frost disaster in different regions of Türkiye caused serious damage to agricultural production: “Complaints from our Commodity Exchange Presidents and producers show that we are facing a major agricultural frost event. For the continuity of production, we need to support our producers and stand by our farmers in difficult situations. Our producers, who demand additional support from the public, want interest-free postponement of debts from all banks, especially Ziraat Bank. Special sensitivity is expected from TARSİM regarding insurance. Get well soon to all our producers and farmers.”
