The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu announced that Aydın Pine Pistachio is the 33rd product to receive Geographical Indication Registration the European Union and said, “May it benefit Aydın and our country.”

In his statement on the subject, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “I congratulate Fevzi Çondur, Chairman of the Aydın Commodity Exchange Board of Directors, Aydın Commodity Exchange Board of Directors, Assembly and everyone who contributed to our local values. We have a diversity of products that few geographies in the world can match. As TOBB and the Chamber-Exchange community, we are making intensive efforts for local and geographically marked products. Our work on 76 geographical indications and 3 traditional product names, which are in the process of the European Union, continues.”
