The President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, together with the Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç, visited Kayseri Kültepe (Kaniş/Karum), where the first company established in Anatolia, the first organized trade center in Anatolia, the first chamber of commerce and the first written tablets were found.

Hisarcıklıoğlu gave the following views in his statement regarding the visit:

“In this ancient land known as ‘the place where Anatolian history began,’ you can find traces of the commercial life of the period and information about the first company established in Anatolia 4,000 years ago. It is an impressive and must-see place. We then visited the Kayseri Science Center, where fossils of rhinos, elephants, mammoths and giraffes dating back to 7.5 million years ago, found at the foot of the Yamula Dam and the Barsama region in Kayseri, are on display. You are almost on a journey through time. An instructive and intriguing journey. You should witness this journey too! I congratulate our esteemed professors and all their colleagues in the excavation committees. I congratulate Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç for supporting Kayseri Science Center.”
