TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his message published on the occasion of August 30th Victory Day, said: “This historic day is a picture of the unity and solidarity of our nation and its character. It is one of the most valuable and proud days of our history. Our independence and will to live together will never change.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu included
the following opinions in his message:
“We are proud of the
August 30th victory. Our history has shown that our nation has never
lived under the yoke of anyone, in captivity, and cannot live in captivity.
The Battle of the
Commander-in-Chief, which was won under the most difficult conditions, is the
best example of this. We have to protect this beautiful history and values that
our ancestors gave us.
The most important task
for us, the representatives of the business world, is to grow the economy of
our country and to keep our appetite for employment and investment alive at all
times.
Everyone should be sure
that we will not deviate from this awareness and goals.
We commemorate all our
martyrs and veterans, especially Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, who sacrificed
their lives for our future and laid the foundations of the opportunities we
have today, with our feelings of gratitude and gratitude.
We will work with all
our strength with the belief that we can be worthy of them. I celebrate the
August 30th Victory Day of our entire nation.”
