M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), evaluated the Medium-Term Program (MTP) announced by Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz. In his statement, Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed the following views:

“May the Medium-Term Program (MTP) for the 2026-2028 period announced by our Vice President, Mr. Cevdet Yılmaz, be beneficial to our country and our nation.

It is positive that the program extensively covers steps to combat inflation, achieve sustainable growth, improve public finances, and enhance the business and investment environment.

The targets and measures included in the program also cover many issues that we closely follow and continuously emphasize from the perspective of our business world.

In particular;

✔️Facilitating access to finance for the real sector, with a focus on SMEs,

✔️Providing additional support to labor-intensive sectors,

✔️Preserving our country’s production, investment, employment, and export capacity,

✔️Reforming the labor market and vocational education,

✔️Protecting our domestic industry and increasing its competitiveness during a period of rising protectionism and global trade wars are priority issues for us.

In order to achieve concrete solutions and progress in these areas, rapid steps need to be taken in cooperation between the public and private sectors.

We, as the business world, will continue to work with all our strength towards our country's goals.”
