M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), attended the joint board meeting of Border Management & Consulting (BMC), established as a partnership between TOBB, the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development, and Customs Tourism Enterprises Inc. (GTİ).
In a statement on his
social media account, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We aim to take the experience of
Customs and Tourism Enterprises Trade Inc. (GTİ), which modernizes land border
gates under the Build-Operate-Transfer model in partnership with TOBB and our
137 Chambers and Exchanges, abroad.
In this context, Border
Management & Consulting (BMC), established as a partnership between TOBB,
the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development, and Customs Tourism
Enterprises Inc. (GTİ), aims to modernize border customs gates and build
logistics centers in 57 Islamic countries and different regions.
We held our Joint Board
of Directors meeting in London. We have determined our roadmap.”
