Bangladesh Ambassador to Turkey H.E. Zulfiqur Rahman visited TOBB President Mr. M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu on 18 March 2011 at TOBB premises. At the meeting, bilateral commercial and trade relations were discussed.
Furthermore, it has been decided that both parties will work on, signing the agreement for the establishment of the Turkey-Bangladesh Business Council in the presence of Bangladeshi and Turkish Prime Minister during the UN Least Developed Countries Conference on 9 May 2011.
At the meeting, TOBB President Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that, TOBB can organize training programs for Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry, if requested.
