TOBB Turkey Packaging Council met with Council President Oktay Duran presiding at the TOBB Istanbul Service Building.
The sector council members decided that a sub-committee would be formed to define packaging.The “First Meeting of the Packaging Waste Committee for 2011” was assessed during the meeting.During the meeting wherein the “Packaging Legislation Information Meetings” planned to be held in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Gaziantep and Konya by HAZTEK Committee formed in accordance Industry and Commerce Ministry’s “Ready-made Packaging Technical Committee Establishment and Mission Statement” were discussed as well as providing a briefing on Interpack 2011.The Materials and Substances which Come into Contact with Foodstuffs Legislation Draught was presented during the meeting for comment by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs Protection and Control Directorate (KKGM).
