TOBB Economy and Technology University (TOBB ETU), placed first again in scientific success among the universities established after 2000. METU Informatics Institute’s URAP (University Ranking by Academic Performance) Laboratory’s announcement of “Universities’ Ranking According to Academic Performance” once again shows TOBB ETU as the first among its peers.
According to the study, TOBB repeated its success of 2010 wherein it was placed first in its category, “Universities Established After 2010”, again in 2011. TOBB ETU’s total scientific success points for 5 subcategories reached 421.98. These subcategories were; “2010 Article Points (102.32)”, “Total Reference Points (125.01)”, “Social Sciences Document Points (111.02)”, “Doctorate Student Points (21.22)” and “Academic Staff/Students Points (62.41)”.TOBB ETU went up a spot among in “Foundation Universities Ranking” from its place in 7th in 2010 to 6th in 2011. TOBB ETU increased its ranking among “Universities Without Faculty of Medicine Ranking” by 1, placing 11th in 2011.
