Çimentaş İzmir Cement Factory Ltd. General Coordinator Mustafa Güçlü was unanimously elected to the TOBB Turkey Cement and Cement Products Council Presidency.
The Cement and cement Products Council convened with the attendance of TOBB Board Member Ender Yorgancılar in the TOBB Social Facilities.The sector’s present issues and suggestions for solutions were discussed in addition to the council presidency election during the meeting. Council members agreed on the need for the proliferation of the usage of cement highways and barriers while authorities from the Highways Directorate presented information to on the latest developments on highways to the sector representatives.

Another issue during the meeting was the “Emissions and Sector Energy Potential”. Council members requested that the figures the Electrical Works Survey General Administration has come up with in regards to the cement sector on energy savings potential.
