The 25th Conferance of CACCI in Istanbul

The 25th Conferance of Confederation of Asia Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI) will be held in Istanbul in 6-8 March 2011. ​

 

CACCI Planning Committee Meeting was held in Istanbul yesterday. At the meeting, which was held with the presence of TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, CACCI President Benedicto Yujuico and participants from 12 countries, it was decided that the 25th CACCI Conference will be held in 6-8 March 2011 in Çırağan Palace, by TOBB. Also, participants voted the theme of the Conference should be on current global issues such as, food security and energy.

The Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI) is a regional grouping of apex national chambers of commerce and industry, business associations and business enterprises in Asia and the Western Pacific.
 
It is a non-governmental organization serving as a forum for promoting the vital role of businessmen in the region, increasing regional business interaction, and enhancing regional economic growth. Since its establishment in 1966, CACCI has grown into a network of national chambers of commerce with a total now of 29 Primary Members. It cuts across national boundaries to link businessmen and promote economic growth throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
 
 
TOBB is a primary member of CACCI since 2009.
