The “Packaging Sector Symposium” organized by the TOBB Turkey Packaging Council and coordinated by the Science, Industry and Technology Ministry was held in the Ankara TOBB Union Center.
Making the opening speech of the meeting which brought together experts in state institutions, sector representatives and representatives of companies conducting legislative monitoring in the packaging sector, Turkey Packaging Council Vice President Yaşar Nadir Atilla made a presentation regarding the sector. The meeting had interactive quality via the participation of the audience as well.
Legislative regulations regarding the various subjects were discussed such as; materials which contact food, rules regarding labeling food and punitive measures, regulation of packaging waste and various other issues related to the sector.
