TOBB Board Member Memiş Kütükçü attended the reception hosted by the Iranian Embassy at the Swiss Hotel commemorating the 37th anniversary of the Iranian Islamic Revolution.
In his address at the reception, Development Minister Cevdet Yılmaz
said, “With the lifting of the international embargo on Iran, the preferential
trade agreement we signed will carry our economic cooperation even greater
heights.”

Iranian Foreign Affairs Ministry Deputy Minister in Charge of Asia and
the Pacific, İbrahim Rahimpour stated that the celebrations of the 37th
anniversary of the Iranian Islamic Revolution which have coincided with the
lifting of sanctions against Iran, heralding a new stage in history, “I believe
that all of our guests are glad of these circumstances.”
Iran’s Ambassador to Ankara, Ali Reza Bikdeli, stated that Turkey has
stood by Iran through the sanctions era as well as the nuclear negotiations,
playing a constructive role. He stated that Iranian authorities have expressed
admiration for Turkey’s honest approach at every opportunity.
