The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey personnel attended the ceremony for the 73rd anniversary of the passing of the Great Leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.
Speaking at the ceremony TOBB Secretary General Mustafa Saraçöz emphasized the importance and meaning of the day:
“Today, as we memorialize the passing of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of our Republic, we see the breadth of his vision when we look at what is happening throughout the world even though 73 years have passed since he has passed away. We confirm how accurate his vision from before 1938 was. It gives us great pleasure that such a visionary leader has emerged from our nation. We remember him with grace.
Our duty is to advance on the path he set for us, to work with ambition and design our daily lives with regards to his teachings. It is well past the time to be wasting our efforts on endeavors which will not aid us in the future.
It is with these thoughts that I remember the Great Leader one more time. May he rest in peace, may heaven be his abode.”
