Dr. Mohammed Nahavandian, President of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Mines (ICCIM) President visited Mr. M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu at his Office. Dr. Nahavandian visited TOBB University of Economics and Technology (TOBB ETÜ) and TOBB ETÜ Hospital during his visit in Ankara and informed Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu that ICCIM also plans to establish a university and would appreciate TOBB’s assistance and cooperation on this matter.
Dr Nahavandian also stated that, ICCIM has projects regarding the energy economy. It decided that TOBB ETU and ICCIM will cooperate in this area.
After the bilateral meeting, an agreement was signed between TOBB and Islamic Chambers Research and Information Center (ICRIC), on organizing the MeccaAward event in cooperation with TOBB, where, quality awards will be granted among the companies of member countries of Islamic Chambers of Commerce and Industry for the years 2011 and 2012.
