Balkan countries should cooperate closely

Association of Balkan Chambers (ABC) Assembly was held in Sofia. Attending the meeting were TOBB Board Member Mustafa Yardımcı, ABC Women Entrepreneurs’ Council Member Nezahat Yılmaz and representatives of TOBB.​

 

In his speech during the meeting, Mustafa Yardımcı stated that at a time when European economies are quaking, Balkan countries need to cooperate closely, that Turkey was the 2011 growth champion and the support of women entrepreneurs by TOBB. Yardımcı also brought up visa problems with Bulgaria.

Also during the meeting, presentations on the EU’s Danube strategy and new systems in electronic commerce were made. Information on DIHK – CEFTA Project activities and ABC’s 2011 action plan were presented.

Results of the ABC Women Entrepreneurs’ Council First Meeting held on September 30th, hosted by TOBB, were presented to the General Assembly by Nezahat Yılmaz and support for ABC Women Entrepreneurs’ Council activities from the ABC Presidents.
