Expressing his satisfaction at being in Erzurum, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the real hero behind growth during the last term was the Turkish private sector.

TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu went on; “I am very happy to attend tax record holders award ceremonies in the Turkish private sector as the President of the Union of Chambers. This is my 9th visit to Erzurum as President. I haven’t been here in the last 3 years. I observed while traveling that there is a very extraordinary change in Erzurum in comparison to 3 years ago. I believe that Erzurum has a very bright future. Where snow seemed to be a burden, now it is a blessing. Erzurum is lucky in this regard, and so is Turkey.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu thanked Mayor Öztürk for his support of the Turkish private sector, “If Turkey is going to get richer today, it will be with the private sector. I would like to thank all the governmental institutions who recognize this fact.

Erzurum Mayon Sebahattin Öztrük expressed his happiness for the visit, and asked the TOBB President to visit more often. Öztürk remarked that Erzurum had achieved great successes in the recent years and that it was expected for the private sector’s interest in Erzurum to increase and be included in their investment programs.
Later, to commemorate the visit TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu presented Mayor Öztürk with a plaque. Mayor Öztürk presented him in return with a porcelain dish and jet stone products.
