Of the 2,462 capacity reports verified in October, 711 were in İstanbul, 173 in Bursa, 155 in Ankara, 155 in İzmir, 82 in Gaziantep, 74 in Kocaeli, 108 in Konya, 56 in Kayseri and Tekirdağ and 51 in Adana.

There were no new capacity reports in October in the provinces of Ardahan, Kırşehir and Siirt.

Total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industry Database is 72,671; the number of employees reported is 2,998,669.

Capacity reports are compiled by local Chambers and approved by TOBB for: bench production; establishments which extract subterranean resources for the purpose of producing in mass or in a standardized manner, using tools or machinery to process half- and fully-processed products to change their properties, contents, composition or shape, fully or partially; informatics technologies and software development.
