TOBB Turkey Earthenware Industry Products Council visited the Environment and Urbanism Ministry Undersecretary Ercan Tıraş.
Council members expressed their gratification in seeing Ercan Tıraş as Undersecretary and related to him the issues of the brick and tile, pumice concrete and gas concrete sectors.
Sector representatives related issues like factories closing down, the lack of laboratories and unfair competition and asked for the ministry’s support in solving these issues. Also during the visit, the erroneous use of polystyrene blocks was brought up with the Undersecretary. Undersecretary Tıraş stated that a revision of the fire legislation has begun and that preparations for the ministry laboratory have begun.
